We launched our first public service, our managed DNS platform, in 2008. 2009 brought the continued expansion of our DNS network and platform as well as the launch of our Watchdog and VPS platforms. Much more is in store for 2010—we hope you'll come along for the ride.
Zerigo, Inc. is a privately held company based in Littleton, Colorado, in the Denver metropolitan area. That means we're not owned by some big corporation. Without all that bureaucracy, we can actually deliver on our promise to do an amazing job taking care of our customers.
The bulk of our operations are housed in a datacenter in Denver, Colorado. To bring you the benefit of our global DNS network, we also have a presence in facilities in St. Louis, Missouri; London, United Kingdom; and Vienna, Austria.
Our primary facility in Denver features Tier-1 bandwidth from Level(3), tw telecom, and Internap. Through these providers, we have peered access, in Denver, to Qwest, AT&T, Sprint, UUNET/Verizon Business, Savvis, XO, and Global Crossing.
The facility includes physically diverse paths for fiber, redundant power feeds from multiple substations, and UPS and generator backup. The network is powered by Juniper and Cisco equipment. We use carefully selected enterprise-class servers.
