How billing works

Zerigo provides a flexible billing system designed to make it easy to do business with us. After all, nothing is sillier than making you jump through hoops to buy something.

Pick your billing day

Be default your monthly billing day coincides with the day you signed up for your first paid service. For many people this works just fine.

However, if it works better to have it on some other day of the month, you can change it.

What happens when you change your billing day

If you have an outstanding balance of more than a couple dollars at the time you change your billing day, we'll charge it right then. If this is the case, it will be displayed on the page.

For usage-based services, there's nothing much else that changes. Usage will be measured on your new billing day.

For monthly services, your next renewals will be prorated in such a way as to cause future renewals to fall on your selected billing day.

Multiple services

Additional services are prorated to align with your monthly billing day.

Outstanding balances

Our system has a threshold below which we don't generally bill at all. That threshold is $5.

Balances that are higher than this threshold are billed during our daily billing run.

If you anticipate adding services regularly, we're happy to bill you a larger amount up front as simply apply it as a credit to your account. Contact support and let us know how much you'd like to be billed.

Usage-based charges

Some of our services generate usage-based charges in addition to or in lieu of monthly subscription charges.

When these usage charges are calculated and added to your account, they will be evaluated like any other charge. You will be charged once you're above our minimum billing threshold.

Alternative payment methods

We only accept credit cards for payment. We are able to accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Additionally, those four networks are sometimes able to process select other types of cards. Cards that may work, depending on the country in which the card is issued, include JCB and Diners Club.
