New! Custom/Vanity Nameservers
Many of you have been asking for custom/vanity nameserver support. We’ve been listening and we’re excited to let you know that custom nameservers are now supported.
For plans supporting custom nameservers (which is most, but not quite all), configuration will take place on the Nameservers tab for each domain. If you’re on a plan that doesn’t support them, just upgrade to one that does. We’ll generate a prorated credit for any time remaining on your existing plan and apply it to the new plan.
Custom nameservers are also supported for domain templates. Not only can the nameservers themselves be customized, but the “hostmaster” contact for each domain can also be configured.
Lastly, custom nameservers (and the custom hostmaster) are fully manageable via the API. The API documentation will be updated within a day or two.
