Our custom web-based control panel has been purpose-built to be incredibly easy-to-use and efficient.

New servers are provisioned instantly. No need to wait. Server rebuilds are also available and performed right away.

Upgrades and downgrades of servers are fully automated, making scaling fast and easy. (Available on VPS servers only at this time.)

Create snapshots of an existing server, already configured for your application. Then simply boot up new servers based on the snapshot.

Automated provisioning

When you've decided you need a server, you want it now. Not next week. Not tomorrow. Not even in a couple hours.

We feel your pain. So, we've automated and optimized our provisioning until it's pretty much instant.

That means if you sign up now, you'll be logging in to your new Zerigo Server in mere minutes.

Resizing (up or down), rebuilding, rebooting, and a bunch of other operations are all automated too, making everything easy and quick.

Unlimited snapshots

Take snapshots of your existing servers — while they're running.

Then, use the snapshots to build a new server. Or rebuild/restore an existing server.

Use your snapshot as a custom server template or base image, already configured just the way you like it.

Or, download a copy of any snapshot to your own computer as a backup.

There's no limit on the number of snapshots you can keep — they're just $0.25/GB per month to keep around. Oh, and we compress snapshots before storing them to save space.

(Bandwidth for downloads is counted as part of your server's bandwidth usage.)

RAM, CPU, and storage

We believe that performance matters. A lot.

RAM is always 100% reserved. There is no over-provisioning.

Your server is guaranteed a minimum amount of CPU power in proportion to its size.

Extra CPU time is kept available so that when your server could use a boost, we can give it a burst of extra power.

Top performance requires great hardware. We've painstakingly selected each hardware component to maximize performance under a virtualized workload.

All of our storage is backed by RAID-10 arrays.

We use ECC RAM. Redundant power-supplies. Hardware monitoring inside every box.

In short, everything is designed to be super fast and very reliable.

32-bit and 64-bit servers

Ever wonder why many providers offer only 32-bit or only 64-bit? Yeah, we're not sure either.

We give you your choice between 32-bit and 64-bit servers.

We recognize that different workloads perform differently on different architectures. Choose the best platform for your particular application.

Dedicated IPs, premium bandwidth

Your server will be assigned a dedicated IP. None of this NAT funny business.

Want to configure reverse DNS? No problem. (And it's fully automated.)

Your server will be connected to several premium, tier-1 bandwidth providers. Fiber is provided by multiple carriers and comes in from different directions, dramatically reducing the opportunity for downtime courtesy of a backhoe.

Datacenter power is redundant too, and is UPS and diesel generator backed.

Full root access; SSH keys

Each Zerigo Server is a complete Linux system. You will have full root access.

Every server runs a separate Linux kernel. Need to install a particular kernel module? Go for it.

Tired of managing automatically generated, random root passwords for new servers?

We provide you the option to add a public SSH key to your account and then we'll automatically add it to the root user for you. For added security, we'll even disable password-based logins via SSH, making your logins both faster and more secure.

Seamless integration with Zerigo DNS

Zerigo runs a reliable DNS infrastructure that spans the globe. You'll have access to that same infrastructure to provide DNS service for your Zerigo Server.

We also give you control over the reverse DNS addresses for each IP assigned to your server.

AJAX web console

We provide an out-of-band, web-based console to access your server. It runs over standard HTTPS, so it's accessible through restrictive firewalls.

Whether for convenience or in an emergency, the web console is available to you 24/7. You might find it useful when:

• you need to see the console output
• your server's firewall ended up a little too aggressive
• you're on a computer without easy SSH access

No setup fees or contracts

Because we automated the whole provisioning process, we really don't have any need to charge setup fees. So we don't.

Most people don't like contracts or term commitments either, so we've skipped those too. Instead, we work hard day-in and day-out to continually earn your business. If we fail to do so, you are always free to cancel.

Flexible billing

We try to make our billing options as flexible and painless as the rest of our service.

Pick your monthly billing day. Once signed up, you can choose what day of the month your services are renewed. We'll prorate second and subsequent services to keep everything aligned.

We offer a 10% discount if you pay for 12 months at once. It's on a per-server basis, so you can take the discount on anything you're sure you want to keep longterm and stay month-to-month on anything else. Contact us to get this setup for you.

Additionally, our Cloud Servers are billed per-hour—perfect for irregular usage.

4-day, free test drive

For new customers, your first Zerigo VPS comes with a 4-day test drive.

If you like it (and we're trusting you will), simply keep using it. We'll bill you on day 5.

If for some reason your server doesn't meet expectations, you may cancel (by simply deleting your server and any snapshots) within the 4 days and you won't be charged.

We've thrown in 10GB of free bandwidth during the test drive too. (Additional bandwidth is just $0.33/GB although you probably won't need it.)
